(NYSE:CHE) announced today that the Board of Directors has declared a
quarterly cash dividend of 12 cents per share on its capital stock,
payable on September 10, 2004, to stockholders of record on August 20,
2004. This represents the 133rd consecutive quarterly dividend paid by
Chemed in its 33 years as a public company.
