CINCINNATI, May 16, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Shareholders of Chemed Corporation (NYSE:CHE) today elected a slate of 10 directors at the Company's 2011 annual shareholders' meeting. Each of the directors continues from the prior term.
Shareholders ratified the continuation of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the Company's independent accountants for 2011. In addition, shareholders approved Chemed's executive compensation and recommended an advisory vote be conducted on an annual basis.
Following the shareholders' meeting, Chemed's Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of 14 cents per share on the Company's capital stock, payable on June 15, 2011, to shareholders of record May 26, 2011. This represents the 160th consecutive quarterly dividend paid to shareholders in Chemed's 40 years as a public company.
